Wifi and health issues

When placed directly on devices it radiates a powerful protective field Read more. Wi-Fi Routers. Wi-Fi Dangers Made Worse by Cumulative Effect Wireless routers — as well as Bluetooth and similar wireless systems — give off electromagnetic radiation in the low-gigahertz frequency.

But science is starting to show that constant and continued exposure could do far more harm than we ever imagined. Rather than connecting to the Internet using wires or cables, Wifi uses radiofrequency signals also referred to as electromagnetic or nonionizing radiation. The convenience of Wifi has led to its explosive use in most homes and offices, as well as in schools, airports, restaurants, and coffee shops. All this convenience, however, may come at a cost. With the ever-growing prevalence of Wifi, electropollution becomes a big health concern.

This is the collective term for unseen, unfelt, and unnatural electromagnetic radiation. We get it from our computers, TVs, microwaves, smart meters, outside power lines, and even the wiring in the walls of our homes. The worst culprits, though, are wireless devices that we tend to carry with us at all times. Even unborn babies are prone to Wifi dangers in utero. A Yale study using mice showed that fetuses exposed to electromagnetic radiation were more hyperactive and had impaired memory due to altered neuron development.

And a study out of Korea that followed a group of 7- and 8-year-olds for five years found that those who used their cell phones for three or more minutes a day had a higher risk of ADHD.

The development of these and other neurological issues may be due to the deterioration of myelin, the insulating sheath around nerves. Myelin is vital for healthy nervous system functioning. Research suggests that overexposure to electromagnetic radiation could cause a breakdown of myelin or affect the proper firing of neurons in the brain.

Fetuses and children to at least their teen years are most vulnerable. In children and adolescents, constant exposure to electromagnetic radiation may also increase the risk of cancer.

For wireless devices operating in the frequency range above 6 GHz, the guidelines specify power density as the relevant RF exposure limit. Power density is defined as an amount of RF power per unit area.

Existing power density limits apply for whole-body exposure, but power density limits for localized exposure are being considered see the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in ET Docket No. If the FCC learns that a device does not conform with the test report upon which FCC approval is based — in essence, if the device in stores is not the device the FCC approved — the FCC can withdraw its approval and pursue enforcement action against the appropriate party. Several US government agencies and international organizations work cooperatively to monitor research on the health effects of RF exposure. According to the FDA and the World Health Organization WHO , among other organizations, to date, there is no consistent or credible scientific evidence of health problems caused by the exposure to radio frequency energy emitted by cell phones.

For more information on the IEFP, go to who. Some health and safety interest groups have interpreted certain reports to suggest that wireless device use may be linked to cancer and other illnesses, posing potentially greater risks for children than adults.

While these assertions have gained increased public attention, currently no scientific evidence establishes a causal link between wireless device use and cancer or other illnesses. There are literally hundreds of peer reviewed scientific studies by scientists from all around the world showing these health problems.

Kevin Mottus of the US Brain Tumor Association says that within the RF Radiation part of the electromagnetic spectrum, the higher the frequency, the more dangerous it is to living organisms. Also, because the 5 GHz frequency dissipates faster with distance, 5 GHz routers also emit the 2. So you are being exposed to two frequencies of RF Radiation rather than just one. It can split DNA strands within cells. And cancer rates are around 3 times higher in people with high exposure to this RF Radiation.

As the new fifth generation 5G rolls out, it will only get worse. These devices will operate at between 24 GHz to 90 GHz frequency. In the paragraphs above I assume that you already know enough about WiFi Radiation to know the health problems it can cause. However for those who do not in the rest of this article I am first going to talk briefly about why WiFi Radiation RF Radiation is dangerous, and then talk about the best ways to still use technology but protect yourself and your family from this radiation.

When you search on the internet for information about WiFi Radiation, whether it is safe or not, the answers that you get really depend on the source of the article you are reading. I wish that were true. However there are literally multiple hundreds of peer review scientific studies performed by doctors and scientists from all over the world who link this form of non-ionizing radiation to things like crib death, cancer, DNA damage especially in infants and fetuses , and infertility.

I have links to where you can find many of these scientific studies on the scientific studies page of this website. I also have a couple of really good videos on that page by a British physicist named Barrie Trower who has studied this form of radiation for his entire career. He started out in the military being trained on how this form of radiation is used as military weapons both to damage the enemy as well as to disperse crowds.

Yes the radiation coming from your WiFi router can be more dangerous than the radiation coming from your cell phone, depending on how close you are to it. The radiation from a cell phone is intermittent meaning that it is only putting out the radiation when it is doing something where it needs to, like sending or receiving a phone call, checking GPS or checking for a WiFi signal.

A WiFi router on the other hand is always sending out the radiation 24 hours a day 7 days a week full blast. And it is sending it all throughout the home. A cell phone causes people to get brain tumors when they are on it a lot. There have been scientific studies showing that. By far the very best way to beat the radiation problem and still have internet is to hard wire your home and office with internet so you can plug your computers into the wall to get your internet.

There is much less danger that way. People building a new home can do this for very little extra cost, and it is very convenient. I have seen people who have done all of this wiring on the outside of their houses.

They just run the internet cables right along the edges of their siding to the outside of each room that needed the internet, and then into that room through a tiny hole in the wall. It was hardly noticeable on the outside of the house.
