Then, based upon data that has been compiled nationally and internationally about cause and effect, reasonable expectancy and fire risk, they will prepare a pre-fire plan. Pre-fire plans are used during an emergency to help us be both safer and more effective.

They also respond to complaints of fire and life safety issues. The scope of these inspections is identifying obvious fire hazards i. Areas of non compliance are documented by the Fire Inspector and require a re-inspection to ensure compliance with the code requirements.
