Early edition fanfiction

Please consider turning it on! Remember Me. A word of warning: If you find angst deeply disturbing, this story may not be for you. A love story; Gary Hobson and Marissa Clark discover that they may be more than just best friends. Trapped and alone during a call, Kelly Severide's time is running out. Could a stranger with a newspaper be the key to saving his life?

In this fanfic, a somewhat lighthearted romantic comedy, Marissa Clark and Mark Perini make the decision to get married for an obvious reason and Gary Hobson may have finally found true love. Before Mark Perini and Marissa Clark became engaged and married, they dated for almost a year. And I hear you're very cute.

You sound cute. He leans toward her. She must know how near his lips are to hers, but she acts like she doesn't, like she doesn't see what he's about to do. They linger briefly, and he pulls away. He stands and reaches over the bar for the whisky and pours himself another.

And it's a crying shame. She pats him on the shoulder. He brings the whisky to his lips and then sets it down again. No matter what. He nods. Now what can I get you to drink? I first saw some of this show when I was 9 or 10, and only just got a little obsessed with it.

And now for my first EE fic. Log in No account? Create an account. Written and posted long before "Blind Faith" aired in Season 4. When Gary get's Sunnydale's paper, he thinks he's been given a chance for a vacation. But when it comes to the paper--and events in Sunnydale--things are never what they seem.

Spoiling the heck out of Early Edition. Some minor spoilers in general for First Wave. Summary: SG-1 is finally ordered to take time off. Daniel and Jack decide to spend part of that time in Jack's home town. And then they meet Gary Tragic events befall our hero. Can Gary overcome a devastating disability in order to carry on his duties to the paper. After weighing most of the possibilities, he decides not to warn anyone who could stop it from happening.

A few days later, after the assassination has taken place, the murdered dictator's country is plunged into a bloody civil war, which results in the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians. Gary realizes the civil war may have been avoided if he had acted on the story and questions his worthiness of receiving The Paper. Author's notes: Two important things to note. First, this short fanfic is somewhat dark and filled with angst, so for those who dislike seeing Gary agonize over making a mistake, this fanfic might be something that you'll want to avoid.

Second, a word of warning: This fanfic has an ending which may upset some readers. Gary finally decides on asking Marissa to marry him and she accepts. But, oh! Can the love they share withstand the mishaps and shenanigans that turn their wedding day into something resembling a three-ring circus? Author's notes: What can I say? When the idea for this fanfic was in the development stage, I laughed so hard that I nearly forgot to breathe.
